University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH), Campus Kiel
Kiel is the capital of Schleswig-Holstein and home to the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH). In addition to its reputation for being one of Germany's top hospitals, UKSH also has one of the best locations in Kiel.
Located in the middle of this historic city with nearly two million inhabitants, UKSH sits near several train stations and bus stops that allow easy access from all over northern Germany. If you're coming from Hamburg or Berlin, it would take half an hour by car; if your journey starts in Lübeck or Flensburg (both less than 30 minutes away), then commuting becomes even easier thanks to trains directly out of those cities.
University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE)
If you are looking for a hospital in Hamburg that provides excellent facilities, equipment and care, then the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) is a good choice.
Located in the city of Hamburg, the UKE has 1,200 beds and around 2,000 staff members. It offers specialties such as cardiology and oncology. The hospital also has an intensive care unit with 16 beds which gives it the capacity to handle major trauma patients as well as providing surgery for complex conditions such as tumors or aneurysms.
The hospital has state-of-the-art medical equipment including CT scanners and MRI machines that allow doctors to make accurate diagnoses quickly using advanced imaging techniques such as 3D tomography scans rather than having to wait for results from biopsies or other tests which could take days or weeks respectively depending on how busy the laboratory is at any given time during working hours when someone goes through these tests regularly then there may be no need
